Who we are

A restoration service for La Palma, CA

La Palma Water Damage Pros provides water damage restoration and mold remediation for La Palma and nearby towns. Our address is 1 Centerpointe Dr, La Palma, CA 90623, and our emergency line is open 24 hours a day.

We dispatch licensed and insured restoration professionals. We explain the scope and price of each job before work starts, and we keep the explanation in plain words so you know what is happening in your home.

How we work

Every job begins with questions: where is the water coming from, what did it touch, and is anyone at risk. Moisture meters and thermal imaging cameras then show where the water actually went, because surfaces can look dry while framing stays wet.

Our methods follow the published ANSI/IICRC S500 standard for water damage restoration and the S520 standard for mold remediation. These are industry standards, and you can ask any company, including us, whether its crews work to them.

Why the city matters to us

La Palma was incorporated in 1955 as Dairyland, and today it is the smallest city in Orange County at 1.8 square miles. Our base at Centerpointe Dr is part of a local business park, and La Palma Avenue is the main thoroughfare through town.

We work in La Palma, Cypress, Buena Park, Cerritos, Anaheim and Stanton, and each has its own page.

Who we serve

Our customers are homeowners, renters, landlords and building managers in La Palma and nearby towns. A homeowner usually wants to know what is covered and how long drying takes. A renter wants to know what to tell the landlord. A manager wants to know who approves the work.

We answer each of those in plain words, and we put the scope in writing for you before the work starts. If something is outside what we do, such as waterproofing or fire restoration, we say so on the first call and suggest the right trade.

The standards behind the work

ANSI/IICRC S500 is the published standard for professional water damage restoration. It sorts water into three categories by source, from clean supply-line water to sewage, and into four classes by how much material is wet and how fast it will evaporate. Those two labels drive the plan for drying, removal and sanitizing.

ANSI/IICRC S520 is the matching standard for mold remediation. It describes three conditions, from normal background mold to actual growth, and it calls for containment, controlled removal and verification. We reference both standards as the industry benchmark, and you can ask any company whether its crews follow them.

What a first call sounds like

A dispatcher asks where the water is, whether it has stopped and whether anyone is at risk. They tell you what to do in the next ten minutes, such as closing the main valve, lifting valuables and staying out of contaminated water.

Then a crew is arranged. On site, the technician surveys the damage with moisture meters and a thermal imaging camera and explains the scope and price before work starts. You decide what happens next.

Safety comes before speed

Water and electricity do not mix. If water touches an outlet or the panel, we ask you to stay out and call the utility or 911 before calling us. If sewage is involved, we ask you to keep people and pets away.

Older homes bring their own cautions. Ask before disturbing old ceiling texture or old flooring, because some older materials contained asbestos. We would rather slow a job down for a lab test than spread something through your home.

What we promise and what we do not

  • We explain scope and price before work starts
  • We tell you what can be saved and what cannot
  • We say when a job is outside restoration, such as waterproofing
  • We do not promise insurance approval, because your insurer decides
  • We do not promise arrival times
  • We do not offer fire or smoke restoration or equipment rental
