Where we work
Our base is 1 Centerpointe Dr in La Palma, ZIP code 90623, in Orange County. From there one 24/7 line serves La Palma and five neighbors. Each town has its own page with its own ZIP codes, utilities and local detail.
La Palma is the smallest city in Orange County at 1.8 square miles, so most of the service area lies in the towns around it.

How the towns differ
Cypress and Stanton get water from Golden State Water, which also serves portions of La Palma. Buena Park and Cerritos run their own city water utilities, and Anaheim Public Utilities handles water and electricity in Anaheim. Your water bill shows who to call for a leak at the meter.
Cerritos is in Los Angeles County, so permits and records there go through different offices than those in Orange County. Ask the city building department in your town whether a rebuild needs a permit.
Town by town, in a sentence or two
La Palma
Incorporated in 1955 as Dairyland and 1.8 square miles in area. About two thirds of homes are owner-occupied.
Cypress
About 6.6 square miles and roughly 50,000 residents. Once nicknamed Waterville for its artesian wells, and home to Cypress College.
Buena Park
The 91 Freeway splits it into North and South. Knott's Berry Farm and Beach Boulevard anchor the commercial side.
Cerritos
In Los Angeles County, with its own city water utility. Formerly Dairy Valley, with more than 400 dairies at incorporation.
Anaheim
A large city of about 347,000 people. Seven standard ZIP codes, and a municipal water and electric utility.
Stanton
About 3.1 square miles with roughly half of homes rented. Golden State Water supplies it.
Giving a dispatcher directions that work
Give your street address, the nearest major cross street and your ZIP code. In La Palma, La Palma Avenue and Walker Street are common reference points. In Buena Park, say which side of the 91 Freeway you are on. In Anaheim, your ZIP code matters because the city is large. In Stanton, a pair such as Beach Boulevard and Katella Avenue is enough.
If you live in a gated complex, an apartment or a building with a manager, say so and have a gate code or the manager's number ready. It saves time when a crew arrives after dark.
Why the service area is built this way
La Palma is only 1.8 square miles, so a restoration line based here has to cover its neighbors to be useful. Cypress, Buena Park and Cerritos border the city, while Anaheim and Stanton sit a short way beyond. Grouping them on one number means a single call reaches a crew whichever side of a city line you live on.
Neighbors we also reach
Properties in Fullerton, Garden Grove and Artesia are in our regular range, and calls from those towns use the same line. They do not have separate pages here, but a crew still travels the same way.
If you are not sure whether your address is covered, call and give the dispatcher your street and ZIP code. They will tell you.
What to do before you call: safety steps and what to have ready
- Your address, nearest cross streets and ZIP code
- Where the water is coming from and whether it has stopped
- Which rooms and materials are wet
- Whether the water came from a clean pipe, a drain or outside
- Any electrical or gas concerns
If water is touching outlets or a panel, call the utility or 911 first. Then call our 24/7 line for emergency water removal or flood damage restoration.
